Lees-McRae College's Farmers Market is back in full swing every Thursday evening on Tate Lawn. From 5 to 7 p.m., you'll find produce and meats from local farms including North Fork Farm, Sugar Bear Farm, Sundance Farm, Trosly Farm, and Maverick Farm, just to name a few.
"This month at the market you can find fresh asparagus, grass fed beef, pastured pork, sugar mountain maple syrup, farm fresh eggs, spinach, arugula and other salad greens, local honey, plants for your gardens, shitake mushrooms, artisan bread, chicken, duck, and much more!" said Katie Hayes, organizer of the Lees-McRae Farmers Market.
