Self Discovery

It is not uncommon to be very intimidated about planning your future. After all, there are a lot of opportunities out there and a lot of choices that will have to be made. To help you plan for your future, it is good to know who you are now.

To be really truthful with yourself, you need to determine what your core values and beliefs are; what gifts and abilities that you can put to work for an employer and overall what direction you want your life to take. Remember with each passing year you encounter new experiences that can help shape who you are. You change every day whether you realize it or not.

Lees-McRae College utilizes a web-based system called Focus2 for interactive career & education planning. Focus2 combines self assessment, career exploration and decision making into one comprehensive program that will help you map out a career path and select the right major area of study that supports your career goals.

Click on the logo below to go the Focus2 website. You will have to create your personal account the first time you visit the site. The access code for first-time registration is "bobcats."
