It is not uncommon for a college student to be very intimidated about planning his or her future. After all there are a lot of opportunities out there and a lot of choices that will have to be made. To help you plan for your future, it is good to know who you are now. What do you mean “who am I now?” I’m me; about to finish college and go into the wide world to make my living. Yes, that’s true, but it doesn’t really say who you are.
To be really truthful with yourself, you need to determine what your core values and beliefs are; what gifts and abilities that you can put to work for an employer and overall what direction you want your life to take. Remember with each passing year you encounter new experiences that can help shape who you are. You change every day whether you realize it or not.
