Surry Community College is located at 630 South Main Street in Dobson, North Carolina. Classes take place in the “H” building. Lees-McRae College offers 2 programs at this site.
A special fee structure makes these programs affordable for everyone.
This full-time program prepares the student for licensure to work in a
Birth-Kindergarten setting. It builds upon an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
The 60 semester hour program takes place over two years and one summer session. Seated classes meet two evenings a week.
This full-time program prepares the student to be a teacher in the North Carolina Public School system. It builds upon an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood or an AA or AS degree.
