Surry Community College is located at 630 South Main Street in Dobson, North Carolina. Classes take place in the "H" building. Lees-McRae College offers three programs at this site.

A special fee structure makes these programs affordable for everyone.

Birth-Kindergarten

This full-time program prepares the student for licensure to work in a
Birth-Kindergarten setting. It builds upon an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.

The 60 semester hour program takes place over two years and one summer session. Seated classes meet two evenings a week.

Criminal Justice

This full-time program is offered through a combination of seated and online classes. It builds upon an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, an AA or AS degree, or a combination of 73 semester hours of college level work that can be transferred to Lees-McRae College.

This 51 semester hour program can be completed over two years and leads to a BAAS in Criminal Justice. Criminal Justice is also offered in a completely online format. Visit the Online Learning section for more information.
