History of the Alumni House

Built in the 1950s, the Alumni House was used as the Lees-McRae President’s primary residence until the late 1980s. From there it was used as a home for the Vice President of Lees-McRae, as a conferencing center and various offices until the early 2000s when it became the Alumni House. Now it is the headquarters of all things alumni including class reunions, alumni events and a relaxing place for alumni to come and visit their alma mater.
