Founder’s Day Celebration

Commemorate and celebrate the life and mission of the founder of Lees-McRae College, Reverend Edgar Tufts. Traditionally, Founder’s Day is the fourth Tuesday of September, but what better way to remember and recognize the Tufts family legacy than at Homecoming. Featured this Founder’s Day is the dedication of the newly refurbished “entrance to campus” by the LMC Class of 1959 in memory of their classmates.

Already in its third successful year, the Hall of Fame Dinner recognizes Lees-McRae athletic and professional achievement of Bobcat alumni and friends. The Fred I. Dickerson Hall of Fame is named for a man known affectionately as “Coach.” Be a part of something really special as LMC inducts Michael Eades ’83, Manuel Jessup ’76 and Rita Smith. $25 per adult/$10 per child (11 & under)

Book by Heather Hach, Music and Lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture. Sorority star Elle Woods doesn’t take “no” for an answer.
