You can tell when exams are on the campus of Lees-McRae College.
The cafeteria has more folks than normal, it is tough to find a seat in the library, everyone looks a little tense, stressed, tired and the gym, weight-room and pool are quiet.
So, as I sit in my office in this unique silence and hope everyone does well on the finals, it makes me appreciate the traffic and noise that is an athletic department.
During this time there are no games, very limited practice schedules and individual meetings and a general time for all to catch their breath and look forward to the holiday season. We have exams until this Thursday, then we will play two basketball games next week, so there will be a return to action soon.
But I sure wanted to share with you the quietness surrounding my office and the gym right now.
This is a good time for planning and preparation for the upcoming spring semester, bringing on our spring sports and looking forward to the great successes we can share with you in the future. I will use this time to catch up on a lot of paperwork, correspondence and reviewing the plan for the spring, while casting an eye towards the future . . . future Bobcats, Hall of Fame members, Bobcat Club members!!!
I will get back to those items I mentioned while it is very quiet.
Until next time . . . Go Bobcats!
Craig

Dear Van Rental NYC –
I am with you completely, a noisy gym represents the youthfulness, exuberance and healthy activities, all of which I miss during these college semester breaks.
thank you
Craig
