The Game at Lees-McRae College!

Our students have taken to a new fashion trend. The new trend is a red velour sweater with some super cool rainbow tassels around the neck. The catch? Well, you have to be “caught” to have the wonderful honor to wear the sweater. Why? The Lees-McRae College Campus Ministry Team is sponsoring a campus-wide game of old fashion tag, with a sweater twist. The game will run the entire academic year and our students have taken to the challenge of the “Game” with great enthusiasm!  There is a “The Game at LMC” official Facebook page where students post pictures and updates on who is currently wearing the sweater in pursuit of the “new” trend setter.  If you are on campus and are interested in playing (you don’t have to be a student to participate), join the official Facebook page, read the rules,  and make it known that you want to wear the sweater and then RUN when you see it coming your way (unless you just want to desperately wear the sweater).  I have included some fun pictures of our trend setters…

About Allison Norris

Hello, my name is Allison Norris and I have been the Dean of Students at Lees-McRae College since the summer of 2007. Prior to being the Dean, I was a Resident Director, an Area Coordinator, the Director of Residence Life, and the Associate Dean (all at LMC). I was lucky enough to attend Lees-McRae College, and while a student I played women's soccer, was a Resident Assistant, and served as a class officer in the Student Government Association. I graduated from LMC in 1993 with a BS in Religious Studies. My passion is working with and for our students. My hope with this blog is to give everyone a "backstage pass" into the life of being the Dean of Students @ Lees-McRae College!
