Institutional Service and Responsibilities

Joshua D. Gaisser serves as the Assistant Dean of Students for Residence Life, where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the residence halls of Lees-McRae College, including supervision of RDs/RAs, residence hall programming to build community and pride, and serving as a crisis response member. Josh also serves as the primary judicial officer for the student conduct process.  

Personal Interests

Josh’s passions include bystander intervention education, leadership education, and advocating for students. In his free time, Josh enjoys reading books, watching How I Met Your Mother, and playing ultimate frisbee. He recently finished hiking the entire 2,189 mile Appalachian Trail before beginning his position at Lees-McRae College.
