Lees-McRae College invites community members to join them for a Lawn Party at Tate Lawn on Wednesday, June 21 from 2-4 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by Lees-McRae Summer Theatre, featuring their upcoming production A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and C&D Music Machine. Lees-McRae alumna Becky Alghrary ’63 and professor Dr. Michael Joslin will both be present to sign and sell their books about the local area.
Representatives from the College will also be present to sign individuals up for Summer Enrichment courses and FORUM. Sumer Theatre tickets will also be available.
Light refreshments will be served by ARAMARK.
The event kicks off the College summer season, which will feature a Concert on the Lawn on Thursday, June 22; the Stephenson Lecture Series on Appalachia; a variety of Summer Enrichment courses; Lees-McRae Summer Theatre; and FORUM.
