Prospective Students Get First Glance of Lees-McRae at Winter Open House

     Winter is a great time to visit the mountains, and for forty-nine prospective students and their families, the Winter Open House hosted by the Admissions Office was the perfect opportunity to explore Lees-McRae College, Banner Elk and the mountains of western North Carolina.Prospective students at Winter Open House
    On Jan. 20, over 120 people visited Lees-McRae’s campus from ten different states including Virginia, South Carolina, Ohio, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas.
    In addition to being able to tour the campus and view the facilities, students and families were given the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and current students in an effort to learn more about what life would be like as a Lees-McRae student.
    “We were pleased to host such a wonderful group of prospective students and their families on campus during our Winter Open House. Our guests were given many opportunities to learn more about Lees-McRae College and the incredible benefits of a small campus environment,” said Director of Admissions Lynn Hinshaw.
