Cost and Financial Aid
All full-time Lees-McRae extended campus and online learning students are charged the same tuition rate as main campus students and are then awarded a generous gift aid package per academic year. This grant aid is a combination of institutional, state, and federal aid (this includes Federal Pell Grant and NC Need Based Scholarship, if applicable).
All extended campus and online learning students must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine any federal or state need based aid eligibility, including Federal Direct Loans. Please file the 2016-2017 FAFSA using your 2015 Federal Income Tax Returns and W-2s. Make sure that you include the Lees-McRae school code of 002939.
Upon your acceptance to Lees-McRae College and the receipt of your FAFSA data, your comprehensive financial aid package will be mailed to your home address. Traditionally, students borrow from the Direct Loan program to meet their out-of-pocket costs. Your loan eligibility and loan request information will be included in your Financial Aid Award Notification.
