The Lees-McRae Fund
Contributions to the Lees-McRae Fund are significant in the daily life of students, faculty and staff. Unrestricted giving directly impacts the quality of education current students receive—every aspect of the college experience is supported by Lees-McRae Fund dollars: “Silent” Scholarships, Smart Classrooms, Residence Hall Renovations, Retention of Quality Faculty & Staff, Student Retention, Student Recruiting, Campus Beautification… just to name a few ways the Lees-McRae Fund is used. Gifts to the Lees-McRae Fund can be made In Honor of or In Memory of a loved one of your choice.
Academics
Gifts designated specifically to Lees-McRae’s academic divisions. You may choose from the following: Business & Social Sciences; Education; Humanities; John B. Stephenson Center; New Opportunity School for Women; Performing Arts; Science & Mathematics; Student Success & Internship Center.
Athletics
Gifts designated specifically to the Bobcat Club support Lees-McRae Athletics: Athletic Training; Basketball; Cross Country; Cycling; Golf; Lacrosse; Tennis; Track & Field; Soccer; Volleyball
Endowment
Gifts designated to Lees-McRae’s Endowment provide for the future of the College. Named Endowments can be established at a minimum level of $25,000.00. Honors Program
Gifts designated to Lees-McRae’s Honors Program support academically gifted students and their development as academic leaders. You are welcome to make a gift in the amount of your choice to the overall Honors Program. By “adopting” an Honors Scholar with a $10,000.00 investment, you will support one student during the entire four year Honors experience: $2500.00 per year for four years, payable each year for a total pledge of $10,000.00. Scholarships

Tufts Scholars
Named in honor of the founder of Lees-McRae College, the Reverend Edgar Tufts, gifts designated to the Tufts Scholar Program supports students who have been selected to be Tufts Scholars. A gift of $8000.00 to the Tufts Scholar Program supports one student during the entire four year college experience: $2000.00 per year for four years, payable each year fulfilling a total pledge of $8000.00.
