Work Study Information

Please make sure that all paperwork is complete and returned to the Student Financial Services Office.

Only students who have been offered work-study in their Financial Aid Package may apply.

  • Work-study Students can complete 110 hours each semester.
  • Students cannot complete more than 20 hours in one week (Sunday-Saturday).

Attention Students: You must complete a Hiring Authorization Form. You can pick up this form in the Student Financial Services Office located in the Chaffee Building.

Job Description: Work as Climbing Wall Manager in the SRC, participate in trainings and meetings (First Aid and CPR certification will be required before working at climbing wall), be available to assist with some afternoon, day and overnight hiking, rock climbing, and backpacking trips. Help belay participants, set anchors, and help monitor safety and risk management. This is a great opportunity to build technical climbing skills and develop leadership skills. Other responsibilities include assisting with lake and pool kayak clinics, campus campfires, slack line events, service learning experiences, and special events like REEL ROCK Film Tour and Climb for the Cure. Students may choose which activities and trips to assist with during the semester.
