Wildlife Science Summer Program
Dates: June 14 - 20
This program is designed for rising 9th-12th grade students who have an interest in conservation, animal medicine and wildlife studies. Participants will experience wildlife biology and wildlife rehabilitation programs while working with patients at the Blue Ridge Wildlife Institute.
Advanced Wildlife Science Summer Program
Dates: June 21 - 27
Cost: $750 (Only $650 if you attend both programs)
This program is designed for rising 9th-12th grade students interested in pursuing a college education in the wildlife field. Successful participants will have attended a previous wildlife camp at Lees-McRae College, have previous experience working with wildlife, or have successfully completed multiple Honors/AP level biology or environmental science classes in high school. Participants will work in a clinical setting, engage in advanced wildlife studies, conduct education programs and tour parts of western North Carolina to study wildlife.
Dates: Saturday-Friday, June 21-27 (Non-high school camp is Monday through Friday only.)
Cost: High School Day Camp: $300 | Pre-K - 8th Grade Day Camp: $220
Join us as we explore drama, dance, music, technical theater and other art forms! Classes are available for students Pre-K through 12th Grade.
CAPA is a model arts program for young people in Western North Carolina. The faculty and staff of CAPA greatly value quality education and arts experiences for all youth. Discovering ones creative potential and individual self in relationship to the world in which they live, work, and play is essential to the creative and performing arts experience.
