04/11/05 - CYCLING TEAM NEWS

This past weekend the cycling team  traveled to the University of Georgia to compete.  Saturday in the men's A race Robert Jameson finished third, Stuart Lamp finished fourth and Brent Bookwater finished fifth.

In the Team Time Trial Sunday morning the team of Brent, Stuart, Taylor Tolleson and Ed Burress won the event.  More results will be posted for the entire weekend, but with this weeks performance the team has qualified for Nationals in May.  They have basically wrapped up the Div II conference title at this point with two races left.

Please plan on coming out this weekend to cheer on these great athletes at our home race.  This will be the last regular event of the season before conference finals April 23 and 24 at Cumberland University.  Thanks to everyone for their support.
