I want to thank all who helped with our
weekend cycling event. To put on three races in two days is a task
that will stretch any one and with out the help of everyone here we
never could have pulled it off.
A very big THANKS to Lee Boseman and
Carl Griewisch for what you both offered to the event. It was
invaluable to the team and myself.
Thanks to Dr. Bushman, Merritt Yackey
and David Browning for coming out and riding with us Saturday
afternoon. I can assure you every school there was envious of our
school and every rider wondered why they could not get their
administrators to ride with them. THANKS!!!!
Thanks to Ried for driving a support
vehicle on Sunday. It is exciting to be a part of the race, isn't
it? To everyone who came out and watched the race, the team gives out
a shout of thanks. It was by all means a successful weekend of
racing, but more importantly it meant so much to the team to see the
school embrace them just one month before they head to Nationals to
represent Lees-McRae College.
