Hi! My name is Rebekah Graham Saylors, and I want you to make
Lees-McRae College your home away from home. As soon as I arrived on the
campus of Lees-McRae in the fall of 1998, I knew I would call the High
Country my permanent home. I’m originally from Jacksonville, Florida. As
the daughter of a Presbyterian minister, my family has served churches
in Decatur, Georgia; Jefferson, Georgia; Lincoln, England; Lexington,
South Carolina; Lanett, Alabama; West Point, Georgia; Columbus, Georgia;
St. Augustine, Florida; and Palm Coast, Florida. I hold a B.A. in
Communication Arts from Lees-McRae College and a M.A. in Higher
Education from Appalachian State University. I enjoy hiking at Bass
Lake, knitting scarves for my family, reading mystery novels, and
watching movies with friends. This past fall, my husband, Wes Saylors, and I
were married on the campus of Lees-McRae.
