Scholarly and Professional Achievements

My areas of specialty include composition theory and pedagogy, basic writing, and Writing Center theory and practice. I have had proven success working with first-generation students, underprepared students and student veterans.  

Institutional Service and Responsibilities

I joined the LMC family to teach the Foundations of Reading and Writing courses and direct the Ratchford Writing Center. My goal is to make every Bobcat a more confident writer.

Personal Interests

I enjoy learning new things, drinking coffee, taking naps, reading, motorcycle adventures, 90's culture, Doc Martens, and Great Danes.

I also enjoy volunteering and have volunteered for the following places:
