Professional Achievements

I am broadly interested in tackling unanswered questions in evolutionary ecology. My PhD dissertation research combined behavioral ecology, comparative phylogenetic methods, and population genomic approaches to gain new insights into the mechanisms underlying fish biodiversity. As part of my graduate studies, I have acted as guest lecturer, lab instructor, and teaching assistant for various courses, including General Biology, Genetics, Evolutionary Biology, and Marine Biology.

I am passionate about scientific illustration and data visualization and have taught workshops on programming for both biologists and practitioners. My active involvement in research across different continents has expanded the scope of my work and informed strategies aimed at fostering the well-being of both humans and the natural world.
