Scholarly and Professional Achievements
Stiles Rader is currently the Program Director for the North Carolina Outward Bound School's Table Rock basecamp in Jonas Ridge, NC. Stiles has been working with Outward Bound for 9 years. In addition to her work with OB she is an avid whitewater paddler, canoeing being her favorite. She works with OB's river program as well as worked for Canadian company, Esprit, in Mexico of 2020. Showing people our natural world from the water is one of her most favorite things about paddling. Stiles graduated from Appalachian State with a BS in Recreation Management. She is a wilderness first responder, ACA Level IV canoe instructor and certified in swift water rescue.
Personal Interests
I enjoy reading, traveling with my partner and playing with my dog Dolly. I've had to opportunity to travel and paddle all over the world—WA, OR, Grand Canyon, WV, NC, GA, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, etc.
