Professional Achievements

I have been in the admissions field for about 26 years, having started in 1985. I have worked for three liberal arts colleges, three visual arts schools, and one culinary arts school. I have worked as a Regional Representative since 1999, and am loving my second year here at Lees-McRae College. I have actually traveled to and spoken with students in 25 states, plus DC and in two Canadian provinces.

Institutional Service and Responsibilities

I am the Regional Representative for Lees-McRae College, which means I travel in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina (as I live in Jacksonville, FL) speaking with prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, and teachers about the benefits of attending Lees-McRae College. I visit high schools and attend college fairs to meet students and tell them all about the college.

Personal Interests

I am from a small town (Oxford, PA) halfway between Philly and Baltimore, in Amish Country. I have been with my wife Heather for 16 years and we are the proud parents of two furry four-footed kids, Buster and Lily. I live in very flat Jacksonville, FL to visiting Lees-McRae in the mountains is always a treat for me. Professionally, I am passionate about letting students from all walks of life know that yes, a college degree is definitely obtainable if you work hard and apply yourself. I love ’80s alternative music, and I have attended more than 200 concerts.
