Ranked #2 up and coming nursing school in the south by Best Master of Science in Nursing Degrees

Nursing (pre-licensure)

The Nursing program will allow you to gain relevant, hands-on experience and challenge you to develop understanding and critical thinking that will support your success as a professional nurse. Our smaller class sizes facilitate close student-faculty relationships where students and faculty know each other by name. A clinical student-faculty ratio of 8:1 leads to quality engagement and support in the 1,100 hours spent in the clinical setting.

Emergency Medical Services and Management

Through the EMSM program, you'll be prepared for the cooperative care that is expected in the work setting between first responders, emergency room staff and continuing care staff. Working in an interdisciplinary environment with faculty and peers in the nursing and health sciences programs, you will participate in scenario-based simulations that will provide exceptional training and require use of management and medical skills.

Health and Wellness Science

The Health and Wellness Science program will prepare you to become a knowledgeable and skillful professional in the complex public and private sectors of health promotion and client-focused leadership positions. You can expect outstanding academic advising, student-centered learning, experiential education opportunities, engagement in scientific inquiry and development of critical thinking and effective communication skills. Concentrations are available in health promotion and human performance.
