Summer Work Program

Lees-McRae is excited to offer discounted housing and meal plan rates for students who work in the local area during the summer. For $800 total, the college will provide a single room in either Tennessee or Virginia Residence Hall, including cable and internet, and a summer-long meal plan (14 meals a week) good from May 10 through Aug. 15. Our local community is booming with summer work opportunities at resorts, country clubs, golf courses, restaurants, retail businesses, hotels and inns, theme parks, and more, and we want to give you an affordable way to take advantage.

Please note: Those who are enrolled in summer courses (on campus or online), completing Wildlife Rehabilitation clinicals, or completing internships for academic credit will not be eligible for the Summer Work Program.

The deadline to sign up for the Summer Work Program is Wednesday, April 15.
