Homecoming and Family Weekend 2025 tailgate registration opens August 28 at 12:01 a.m. Claim your spot for a front-row seat to watch the men's and women's soccer matches on Saturday, Sept. 20. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Bobcat fans can register for a space on Bobcat Bank. All spaces are 12 feet wide. Spaces in the Bobcat Fans section permit one vehicle and one tent. Student spaces only permit one tent.
We limit each person, group, or organization to one space. We ask that you please respect your space and those in the spaces around you.
Alumni, families, faculty, or staff can register by visiting lmc.edu/tailgate and clicking the “Tailgate Registration” button near the top of the page. When the registration opens on August 28 at 12:01 a.m., you will see the list of available spaces. Please select the location you would like. Spaces are first come, first served.
Please note: Students can register for a space in a specially designated section at the heart of Bobcat Bank. Registration for current students will also open on August 28 at 1 p.m., and will remain open until 5 p.m. on September 10. To reserve a space, visit Kendall Malsam, director of campus life, in the Student Affairs office located on the lower level of Virginia Hall.
Parking during the event will be available at the Fred I. Dickerson Athletic Complex and South Campus at Grandfather Home off Hickory Nut Gap Road.
A five-minute unloading zone will be available near Bobcat Bank at Tate Field.
Shuttles will run on Saturday, Sept. 20 from North and South Campuses to the Athletic Complex. Download the MontiBUS mobile application now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to get access to live updates and shuttle locations.
For Homecoming and Family Weekend only, Lees-McRae College allows those of 21 years of age and older to consume alcoholic beverages in moderation while tailgating. Those consuming or in possession of alcohol must be able to present a valid form of I.D. (Unexpired state issued driver’s license, U.S. Military I.D., State of N.C. Special Identification Card, Official Passport). Spirits, kegs, and/or glass containers are not permitted in any location.
This is a family-friendly event. Please consume wisely and be respectful of other attendees.
