Lees-McRae College's expected threshold for overall job placement or graduate school acceptance within six months of graduation is 80%. Though Lees-McRae has consistently maintained an average placement rate above 80%, individual programs showed variance. Some programs culminate in licensure examinations, while others are broad in scope and result in job placements in the general market or result in application to graduate school.
Lees-McRae is fortunate to have small graduating classes which allow faculty and staff members to focus their attention on helping students find appropriate internships/employment or helping them compile graduate school applications. The Robb Center for Career Exploration offers a wide array of career and graduate school preparation events and serves as a centralized resource for students and faculty.
Job placement and graduate school acceptance rates are reported annually by the chair of each academic division and kept on file in the Office of Academic Affairs.
