The Mission of Sport Science Program is to develop highly competent professionals to serve in sport associated leadership roles in related organizations, and to provide a basis of course work so that the students will be able to pursue a master’s degree. It is designed for those students that want to study the scientific principles of human performance, and then apply these concepts to leadership in sports.
The Sport Science Program at Lees-McRae College contains a sequence of carefully designed courses, several of which are prerequisites for others. PED 121, and PED 272 are recommended early in the student’s progression of courses.
Check with the Coordinator of Sport Science for more information.
