Career and Graduate School Fair

Tuesday, February 20, 1–4 p.m. (Employer set up 11 a.m.–1 p.m.)
Evans Auditorium, Cannon Student Center

The Career and Graduate School Fair is open to all potential employers, including those recruiting for summer jobs and internships, part-time and full-time work, and volunteer opportunities such as Peace Corps. Graduate and professional schools are also encouraged to attend!

Students

The Career and Graduate School Fair is open to all students, alumni and community members. All grade levels and degrees are encouraged to attend.

What do you need for the Job and Internship Fair?

  • Professional attire (students and alumni inappropriately dressed will not be allowed to enter)
  • Student ID
  • At least 10 copies of your resume

Be sure to do the following to prepare for professional/career events:

  • Have your resume reviewed with Career Services
  • Attend the Get a Job Pizza Party on Monday, February 19
  • Conduct company research
  • Collect business cards from recruiters to follow up after the event

Directions to Campus

Lees-McRae is best reached from Boone, North Carolina by Highway N.C. 105 S to Route 184 (Tynecastle Hwy) which leads to Banner Elk. When you reach the stoplight in Banner Elk, turn left and after a  hundred yards Cannon Student Center will be on the left. Parking will be assigned upon arrival.
