Career and Graduate School Fair

Tuesday, February 28, 1-4 p.m. (Employer set up 12-1 p.m.)
Evans Auditorium, Cannon Student Center

The Career and Graduate School Fair is open to all potential employers, including those recruiting for summer jobs and internships, part-time and full-time work, and volunteer opportunities such as Peace Corps. Graduate and professional schools are also encourage to attend!

Students

What do you need for the Job and Internship Fair?

  • Open to all students, alumni and community members. All grade levels and degrees are encouraged to attend.
  • Must be professionally dressed. Students and alumni inappropriately dressed will not be allowed to enter
  • Have Student ID
  • Have at least 10 copies of your resume

Be sure to do the following to prepare for professional/career events:

  • Attend Career and Leadership Connections on Saturday, February 25
  • Attend the Get a Job Pizza Party on Monday, February 27
  • Conduct company research
  • Collect business cards from recruiters to follow up after the event

Directions to Campus

Lees-McRae is best reached from Boone, North Carolina by Highway N.C. 105 S to Route 184 (Tynecastle Hwy) which leads to Banner Elk. When you reach the stoplight in Banner Elk, turn left and after a  hundred yards Cannon Student Center will be on the left. Parking will be assigned upon arrival.
