Career Services can help you explore a variety of careers to determine which occupation fits your values, skills, and passions.

With access to Career Services you can get one-on-one guidance, attend a career fair, sit in on a workshop, and put together your path for success. 


The staff at Career Services is here to serve as a resource for you and your career exploration. We can assist with the following:

  • Resume/CV and cover letter development and review
  • Practice interviews
  • Internship and job searches
  • Graduate & professional school process
  • Networking


Lees-McRae alumni are welcome to utilize Career Services at any point on their career journey to review materials, ask questions or prep for the next move.

Other ways to connect:

  • Set up a presentation or discussion on your industry or field of expertise
  • Serve as a part of a panel
  • Volunteer to conduct practice interviews with students on campus
  • Post positions and conduct interviews for openings in your organization
  • Participate in job shadowing opportunities for current students

Drop-in Hours and Appointments

Drop-in for a 10–15 minute appointment where you can have your cover letter, resume or LinkedIn profile reviewed; get answers to your questions about upcoming events, job and internship searching, and graduate and professional schools; and explore majors and career options! Drop-in hours are every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30–4 p.m.
