Campus Worship - Tuesdays, 10 a.m.. Evans Auditorium


Formerly Sunday Night Live, is an informal, contemporary Christian worship experience that will include videos, singing, drama, dance, message, and shared prayer, designed for students to have a great relaxed place for fellowship! We're now in Evans Auditorium on Tuesday mornings at 10 am.  Contact Kathy Campbell, Jim Taylor or Meghan Rey for more details.


InterVarsity/ATT Christian Fellowship Thursdays, 8:30 p.m., United Methodist Church

Meets weekly on Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. at the United Methodist church on campus, in large and small groups to grow in Christian discipleship.  Large group provides time for worship, biblical message, share prayer, and fun!  Men's and women's mall group bible studies meet weekly as well.  Contact Josh Mullins or Eric Jones for more information.


Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Tuesdays, 8 p.m., Evans Auditorium

A great time for athletes and non-athletes alike to share in growing in their Christian faith through fellowship, fun, speakers, and prayer.  .Coaches Julie Kennedy - Ext. 8904, Renee Lopex - Ext 8771, Jamie Petrik - Ext 8891, and Megan Wargo - Ext 8714 are the FCA Advisors. Men's Bible Study - Mondays, 7:30 p.m., McRae House

A wonderful group of guys to chat with about life and faith.  Meet Monday evenings at 7:30 pm at the McRae House, followed by a prayer/planning meeting for ATT @ 9pm.  Contact Stephen Butler at ext 8697 for more details.


Online Daily Devotions and Prayer Requests

An inspirational campus-wide e-mail devotion is shared every day.  If you have a devotion you would like to share, email it to Kathy Campbell, campbellk@lmc.edu.
Prayer requests go out campus wide as they come in.  If you have a prayer request that you would like to share with the campus community, please call or email Kathy Campbell, Ext. 3142.


International Dinners

International Dinners are held twice a semester at the McRae House and are advertised as they happen.  This is a great opportunity to enjoy some authentic world cuisine and some great fellowship.

 


Soup Lunch - Wednesdays, any time during 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., McRae House

Students, staff, and faculty come to the McRae House to enjoy homemade soup, salad, bread, and dessert along with casual conversation.  This has become an institution.  The soup is prepared weekly by a different member of the campus community.  This lunchtime gives you a chance to meet people who may not be in your class or on your team or in your residence hall.  Would you like to make soup for one of the soup lunches?  Contact Kathy Campbell, Ext. 3142


World Religion Supper Seminar

Supper will be provided as we listen to and discuss the particlar faith tradition for the week with a person who is practicing the faith.  This is a great opportunity to learn about other religions from a personal perspective.  For more information, contact Robert Black, ext 8788.



Peace Garden - Feel free to come sit and relax in the beautiful new Peace Garden at the McRae House...have a meeting, eat some lunch or just have some time to yourself in this calming atmosphere.
 

McRae House - Remember, you can sign up to use the McRae House for meetings, movies, meals, parties or other special events.  Just sign up on the reservation calendar on the desk near the front door.  See a McRae House work-study with questions.

Forums, Speakers and Series on issues of life and faith are held throughout the semester.  These events will be advertised on the website as they happen.
