Here is what former participants have
said about the KIBO

I love me.”
-Nate
Anderson

FAQ
What is KIBO?
KIBO is a nine-week long
leadership program.
What do you do at
KIBO?
We explore a different topic each
week that relates to leadership
development. We do this
in a 100% interactive and fun way.
Is KIBO a club?
Not exactly, clubs have mission statements, officer structures and do
programs. KIBO is about bonding with 20-25 other students, learning
about yourself and others and developing life skills that people assume
you pick up in college (communication, risk-taking, values-clarification
etc.).
Is KIBO a class?
Not exactly, classes have homework, syllabi and lectures.
This is an
interactive learning experience.
What kind of time
commitment is required?
KIBO meets Monday evenings from 6pm-8pm in Evans Auditorium. We also
have one over night retreat early in the semester on a Friday night.
The retreat ends by Saturday around noon, leaving you plenty of weekend
to do other things.

Can Athletes,
Performing Arts Majors and other students with large out of class
obligations participate
in KIBO?
Yes!
We offer KIBO in the Fall and Spring semesters. We strongly
encourage students to choose a semester during which they are not
over-committed.
Does KIBO look
good on a résumé?
YES
Is KIBO fun?
YES!!! But don’t take my word
for it.
Ask someone who has done KIBO before.
