The
following is a list of student clubs and organizations. For
additional information about any of these groups, please speak with
the student representative (who can be found making announcements at
TEAM), or by following the email link to the faculty sponsor.
The
Highlanders
The Highlanders is a scholarship-based show
choir and dance ensemble featuring students selected through an
audition process. Highlander performances support development
and public relations for the college as well as community and
campus events. The Highlanders rehearse twice per week and
present a wide range of musical works and dramatic

Alpha
Psi Omega
"Seek a Life Useful"
The Lambda Mu cast is the Lees-McRae College chapter of the national
dramatic honor fraternity Alpha Psi Omega. We are dedicated
performing artists who believe in sharing the theatrical arts with
the community through service. Sophomore level students with
experience in arts management, technical theatre, and performance
are welcome to apply to our organization. Past Alpha Psi Omega
events include Lees-McRae's Spring Fling Dance and multiple service
projects with Cannon Memorial Hospital, the college campus, and the

The Lees-McRae College chapter of Nu Delta
Alpha commits to building strong leadership in dance education,
performance, choreography and service to foster the development and

LMC
Players
LMC Players is an arts education group
focused on bringing theatre to children in the local area. We tour
schools in Avery County with shows that relate to the curriculum
they are learning in school. The group collaborates on ideas for
costumes, props, publicity, etc to make the shows as proficient as

H.I.C.S.
H.I.C.s (Highland Improvisational Company) is
a student run organization focusing on the art and performance of
Improvisation. Beyond campus and off campus performances, H.I.C.s is
committed to improving acting skills through searching out new and
challenging formats.
