The Lees-McRae College Archives
The Lees-McRae College Archives is the repository of the documents, photos, books and other items relating to the college's history. While the college has existed for more than 100 years, it has been only in the last 3 years that a college archivist has been appointed and serious work to organize and catalog the archives has been undertaken.
The archives received a generous gift from Dr. H.G. Jones, retired archivist of the State of North Carolina and alumna of Lees-McRae College. The Jones-Pritchett Endowment for Lees-McRae Archives will be used to build and organize the archives so that future generations may research the history of this wonderful institution.
