Payment Plan

To help students budget for educational expenses, we have partnered with PayMyTuition to offer a convenient monthly tuition payment plan. The monthly payment plan is not a loan program or financial aid. There are no interest charges assessed, and there is no credit check.

PayMyTuition charges a $50 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester for access to their service. Students may pay tuition, fees, and room and board expenses using either a credit card or Automatic Bank Payments (ACH). Payments are processed on the 5th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.

 

How to Enroll

Enrollment in the monthly payment plan is done entirely online. To enroll, students must have a student ID number, and a credit card or banking information.

To enroll in the monthly payment plan, log in to Self-Service and click on "Payment Plan Information" under the "Student Finance" menu.

 

Terms and Conditions

The monthly tuition payment plan is a third-party service offered by PayMyTuition as a service of Lees-McRae College.

Please read the terms and conditions carefully before proceeding. The $50 enrollment fee and any required down payment are processed immediately.

By enrolling in the payment plan, the student agrees to these terms and conditions:

  1. The student agrees to pay the College for tuition, fees, and other related expenses according to the payment schedule herein.
  2. The student will make monthly payments as follows:
    • Payment Due Date: The student shall make monthly payments on or before the 5th day of each month. Auto-draft payments must be on the 5th of each month.
    • Monthly Payment Amount: The monthly payment amount is approximately 1/5 or 1/4 of total tuition and fees remaining after Financial Aid is applied. Changes in course schedule, residence assignments, or Financial Aid may have a direct effect on monthly payment amounts.
  3. The student acknowledges that electronic payments under the Payment Plan are to be made through the PayMyTuition payment platform operated by MTFX USA Inc., and that MTFX USA Inc. will be acting as the “agent of Payee” on behalf of Lees-McRae College for the purpose of processing all payments made by me through the PayMyTuition platform. 
  4. The student agrees to make payments through the following method(s):
    • Credit Card Payments
    • Bank Transfer
  5. The student must provide the College with the necessary banking or payment information to set up the automatic transfer of funds. Insufficient funds or incorrect account information will result in an NSF charge.
  6. The student agrees that all outstanding charges, including but not limited to tuition, fees, and other expenses, must be paid in full before the end of the academic term or agreed-upon payment period.
  7. The College reserves the right to adjust the payment plan terms upon written notice to the student. Any changes will be communicated at least 30 days prior to the effective date of the change.
  8. Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice to the other party in the event of a material breach of the terms of this Agreement.
  9. The Lees-McRae College refund policy applies to this payment plan. The student is encouraged to review the refund policy, which can be found on the College website or by contacting the Student Accounts Office.
  10. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina without regard to its conflict of law principles.
