Summer Theatre Audition Information

Lees-McRae Summer Theatre is currently casting our 2026 Season! We are seeking performers of all ages for our exciting 2026 lineup. We are looking for actors, singers, dancers, and children. To audition please send a video showcasing your talents to speerj@lmc.edu.

Each summer, Lees-McRae Summer Theatre brings together talented performers from our local community and across the country to create unforgettable theatre in the High Country.

Performers are hired in one of two categories:

• Professionals: Artists who have completed undergraduate training or possess significant professional experience.
  
• Performance Interns: Current undergraduate students selected for our paid internship program.

All performers receive compensation, and housing and meals are provided for those coming from outside the Banner Elk area.
