Online Elementary Education program named one of best in the country

College information and ranking resource, Affordable Colleges Online (AC Online), recently listed the Lees-McRae Online Elementary Education program as one of the best in the U.S.

The college landed among 25 top schools across the nation including East Carolina University, University of North Carolina Wilmington, and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

"In our seventh annual survey of online learning programs across the nation, we wanted to honor the colleges and universities that are providing innovative ways for students to complete a degree," CEO and Founder of AC Online Dan Schuessler said. "These schools are going above and beyond the industry standard to help make online education programs more accessible and affordable."

AC Online evaluated more than 3,500 colleges and ranked on factors such as affordability, quality, and flexibility as well as the program itself.

Established in 2011, AC Online offers “free community resource materials and tools that span topics such as financial aid and college savings, opportunities for veterans and people with disabilities, and online learning resources,” according to an AC Online release.
