Rhea-Lyons Indoor Swimming Pool announces updated summer hours

Since its reopening earlier in 2018, the Rhea-Lyons Indoor Swimming Pool on the campus of Lees-McRae has welcomed hundreds of visitors across the High Country.

However, the start of the summer season will also mark new operating hours for the pool. Starting on Monday, June 11, the pool will be open to public use Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Those interested in using the pool are asked to purchase an annual Lees-McRae community membership pass. The pass permits access to facilities on campus including the Shelton Learning Commons, Broyhill Wellness Center in the Cannon Student Center, Arthur Student Recreation Complex, Arthur-Lauritsen-Sanders Track and the outdoor tennis courts in addition to the pool.

Community membership passes can be purchased or renewed for $150 at the Student Development Office in the Cannon Student Center or online here.
