Before move-in day arrives, here is your final to do list

Before you can finally move in on August 16 (we are all counting down the days!), there are a few last-minute items to check off your list. Thankfully, you may have already completed many, if not most, of these tasks during orientation. Scan through this quick final checklist and enjoy the remainder of your summer knowing all you have left to do is move in!

Complete a resident information form

This form will help us assign you to the perfect roommate and the right residence hall for you. You can find that form here.

Submit your health and immunization form

This form lets us know that you are healthy and caught up to date with your yearly physicals and immunizations. If you haven’t already filled out and submitted the form during orientation, access the form here. Once you've completed your form, either email, fax, or mail the form into the Office of Admission. You can also bring the form with you on move-in day.

Important: Are you an incoming athlete? Make sure to check in with your coaches for special athletic-specific health forms.

Complete your banking information

Make sure to connect your banking information for any refunds you may receive. You can submit your information through Monitbus here. Don’t worry, this portal is secure and we never share your information with anyone.

Register for a parking pass

Bringing a car to campus? Then you’ll need to register for a parking pass. Registration for all freshmen will open on Wednesday, July 17. To complete the registration, which you can find here, you’ll need your student ID number, license plate number, and make, model, and year of your car.

Important: Register for a parking pass before August 1 to guarantee your pass is available on move-in day!

Finalize your placement assessments

Didn’t have time to complete your placement assessments before or during orientation? Make sure to wrap those up to receive your fall schedule. Remember that these assessments are low stakes (we promise!) and simply intended to help you be placed correctly. You can find the assessment here.

Once your assessments are complete and you are registered for classes, the bookstore will gather your textbooks and have them ready when you arrive!

Complete the FAFSA

Complete your FAFSA to be considered for state, federal, and institutional aid. Contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions you may have. Learn more about the FAFSA and the financial aid process at Lees-McRae here.

Important: On your FAFSA application, make sure you also include the Lees-McRae school code: 002939.

Pay your fall semester bill

In order to move into your residence hall in August, you will need to pay your balance in full or set up a payment plan and make the first payment by the clearance deadline of August 2. With any questions, give the Students Accounts Office a call. Learn more about Students Accounts and how to pay your bill here.

That’s it! Once you have everything above checked off, you are clear to pack your bags and head for the mountains. We are excited to see you back on campus in August and welcome you to this exciting, new chapter.
