Introducing The Spirit Package

Homecoming is all about traditions, some tried and true, and some new. Join us in introducing The Spirit Package—a fun way for alumni, students, and friends to pay it forward and show off their school spirit at the same time. It’s a win, win! Just make sure you get them while they last—The Spirit Package will only be around during Homecoming, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Big spirit, even bigger impact

Maybe you already give to the college or maybe you’ve been meaning to. Either way, The Spirit Package is a great way to invest further in the lives of our students and receive some cool gear while you are at it. Did you know that all contributions to The Spirit Package go directly to support student scholarships?

Scholarships mean more than just a lighter financial load on our students. It means they can focus on the college experience here at Lees-McRae. In addition to their attention aimed at academics in the classroom, they might pursue career-building opportunities through internships or study abroad trips. Financial support might also allow students to experience extracurricular activities like joining a club or volunteering in the community.

What is in The Spirit Package?

For a $30 contribution, you’ll receive:

  • A limited edition t-shirt designed by a guest artist (learn more about the artist below!). The 2019 shirt features the iconic Tufts Tower emerging from the snow-capped peaks of our mountain home. Limited edition really means limited! Once supplies run out, the design will be put in the Bobcat vault!
  • An enamel campfire mug displaying the college motto—In Montibus, Ex Montibus, Pro Montibus.
  • A megaphone for all those moments you want to be loud and proud.
  • And a decal for displaying your Bobcat pride wherever you choose—we will leave that up to you!
