Homecoming 2018

This year’s Homecoming celebrations were extra special as the weekend began with the inauguration festivities.

The events kicked off Thursday with the Banner Elk Family Picnic and Concert hosted by both the Town of Banner Elk and the college. Friday was a busy day—the morning had a prayer service at the Banner Elk Presbyterian Church, the afternoon featured the inauguration of Lee King as the 16th president, and the evening was topped off by an ice cream social and a women’s volleyball game in Williams Gymnasium!

Saturday was filled with all the familiar and favorite Homecoming activities. The Green and Gold Brunch started off the morning, followed by tailgating all afternoon on Bobcat Bank, finished with the highly-anticipated Tent Party on Tate Lawn!

So many activities and times with great friends! It’s no wonder Homecoming weekend is one of our favorite times of the year.
