Prospective Students and Families

MONITORING CORONAVIRUS: To minimize risks to the entire community, operations have been modified with the health and welfare of students, faculty, and staff as the top priority.

Campus Visits (NEW)

Campus tours in Banner Elk will resume on June 1, as the state, county, and town continues through the early stages of re-opening. In order to make sure everyone stays safe, and to be compliant with executive orders, each information session and campus tour timeslot will be limited to ONE group—a prospective student and a maximum of three additional guests from the same immediate family.

Enrollment Deposits (NEW)

Due to the public health situation, we have extended the enrollment deposit deadline to June 1. Many accepted students have only visited us virtually and we want them to make the best possible choice for their future. We hope that selection will be Lees-McRae, so we are giving you a little more time for this important decision. We wish all of our prospective students and families remain safe and healthy during this time.

With questions about an upcoming event, campus visits, or to learn more about Lees-McRae, email or call 828.898.5241.
