Scholarly and Professional Achievements
Previous work in both for profit and nonprofit businesses has provided me with a wealth of insight and experience that I am eager to share with students. Through graduate work and previous work experience, I am intrigued with and enjoy working with entrepreneurs. Exposing students to critical thinking and problem solving as related to real business issues is a staple in my course development.
Institutional Service and Responsibilities
Currently working with faculty for onboarding and professional development, by building a community of support, innovation, and life-long learners. Also, serve as the Program Coordinator for the online Business Administration degree.
Previously served as the Dean of the School of Business and Management, providing oversight to the Business Administration, Sport Management, Cycling Studies, and Outdoor Recreation Management programs.
Serve on the Executive Committee of the Faculty Senate, Provost Council, Faculty Welfare, Curriculum Committee, Business Leadership Developers, and more.
Personal Interests
Experiential learning and community involvement are things that will be involved in courses that I teach. You will be challenged to answer to real world and current issues that face our area businesses. Using your creativity to solve problems and develop marketing channels makes me giddy!
My hope is to bring students to an understanding of business concepts and thought processes. Building young professionals to be hardworking and ethical young business professionals is our focus at the School of Business and Management.
