Scholarly and Professional Achievements

As an academic librarian, I specialize in the study of student and faculty information seeking and use behavior. I also work on innovative ways for small academic libraries to support students in and out of the classroom. I regularly present my findings at state and national professional conferences.

Institutional Service and Responsibilities

I oversee the daily operations of the Learning Commons and collaborate with the faculty to support students. Working with students in the classroom and in personalized research appointments is the best part of my profession.

Personal Interests

When I'm not in the library, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three mischievous tuxedo cats. I'm an avid reader, knitter, and hiker and like to do all three activities at the same time whenever possible.
