Scholarly and Professional Achievements

For the past 20 years I have worked as a corporate business and supply chain leader in various industries including biomedical, telecommunications and information technology. In addition, I have worked as an online professor and dissertation adviser since 2003. For more than 15 years I have facilitated and designed courses in the areas of organizational development, strategic management, human resources, project management, leadership, and research.

I hold a BA in Political Science from North Carolina Central University, an MBA in Organizational Management from Pfeiffer University, and I completed my Doctoral studies in Business with a focus Organization and Management and Human Resources at Capella University.

Institutional Service and Responsibilities

I am an adjunct instructor for the online program in the School of Business & Management. I currently teach strategic management which trains students to effectively collaborate in teams and conduct in-depth cases analysis of corporate and business problems while identifying solutions. In addition, I facilitate the final senior research project.

Personal Interests

Outside of the classroom I serve in my community through Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority Inc. and my local church of worship. Between these two organizations I create and facilitate several community development activities and fundraising events throughout the year. These activities include a STEM mentoring program for middle and high school students, scholarship fundraising, blood drives, AIDS, breast cancer and heart disease awareness.
