Scholarly and Professional Achievements
I received my PhD from Southern Illinois University in 2022, where I studied the ecology of grassland birds and nest predators in restored prairies. I currently collaborate with the International Bird Conservation Partnership to investigate the impacts of logging and agriculture on tropical bird communities in the Peruvian Amazon. My research interests are broadly related to avian and restoration ecology, though I am particularly interested in the impacts of habitat change and land management actions on bird community structure.
