Scholarly and Professional Achievements

I am an artist working in drawing and performance. I have shown my work internationally at events such as the Reykjavik International Film Festival in Iceland, High Desert Test Sites in California and most recently at the Black Mountain College Museum in Asheville. I have also received grants from the Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance art in New York as well as the American Austrian Foundation for my work.

Personal Interests

After I finished college I rode my bicycle from Asheville to San Francisco. I've since lived on both coasts, in Portland, Oregon and most recently Brooklyn, New York where I worked as a metal fabrication artist. When I am not working in the studio, I enjoy exploring by foot or by bike.
