Scholarly and Professional Achievements

My research is in disability, access, and inclusion through a sport lens (e.g., access for spectators, inclusion of participants, media representation of disability). I have published more than 30 research manuscripts and book chapters, and delivered more than 70 research presentations at national or international conferences.

Institutional Service and Responsibilities

Along with serving as the dean of Business and Management, I am the program coordinator for Sport Management and oversee our internship program where students gain critical hands-on experiential learning to prepare them for the field.

Personal Interests

I am most passionate about preparing students to work in the sport management industry by introducing them to real experiences and replicating that in the classroom setting. I have a physical disability (cerebral palsy) and work to shatter the stigma that is created around disability, particularly in sport.

I care about God, our family, our dog, watching (or coaching) our kids in sports, the Vols, the Braves, my Jeep, and ice cold Dr. Enuf ... mostly in that order.
