Scholarly and Professional Achievements

I received my PhD from Ohio University in 2022 in ecology and evolutionary biology. Specifically, my goal as a scientist has been to understand amphibian responses to global climate change and anthropogenic stressors through the lens of aquatic to terrestrial carryover effects. This research is a defining issue for organisms with complex lifecycles, such as amphibians. The central question of my research is: how do environmental stressors during the larval stage affect survival, growth, and overall fitness of individuals at later life stages and what larger impacts do these have at the population level? My current research interests are broadly related to anthropogenic effects on amphibian and reptile ecology.
