Open House for Online/Distance Programs

The Lees-McRae online and distance learning programs offer an accessible way to earn your bachelor's degree on your own schedule. At our virtual Open Houses, you can learn more about our online degree programs, talk to faculty and current students, ask any questions you may have, and find out how pursuing a bachelor's degree at Lees-McRae can help you obtain new opportunities.

Join us for one of three Open Houses in May, June, or July. Each session will feature information from Lees-McRae faculty and staff about the admissions process, the structure of the programs, and the financial aid options available to online students.

Virtual Information Session

If you have specific questions about the online and distance learning programs, join members of the Admissions team for a Virtual Information Session on Tuesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. Hear from Executive Director of Distance Learning and Transfer Programs Wayne Leon, Associate Director of Online Recruitment Jamar Jones, and Transfer Admissions Counselor TC Kasper as they go into detail about the academic programs and the admissions process. At the end of the session, you will also be able to set up a one-on-one appointment if needed.

About Lees-McRae Online

Lees-McRae currently offers four online bachelor's degree programs and one online master's degree program. Our programs are designed for working professionals and non-traditional learners who need flexibility in order to balance their competing responsibilities. With rolling start dates for most of our programs, you can begin the process of earning a bachelor's degree whenever it's most convenient for you.

Our tuition prices are among the lowest in the region and many of our students are eligible for additional discounts. Every student who participates in one of our online program is welcome to take advantage of the personalized support offered by the Burton Center for Student Success and the Office of Career and Life Planning. Our faculty understand the challenges of pursuing higher education while working and taking care of a family, and are dedicated to working with you to help you succeed.

$350 PER CREDIT HOUR

Our out-of-pocket costs are some of the lowest in the region. Many students qualify for price reductions and scholarships, including discounts for currently working in an occupation related to the program or graduating from one of our partner colleges.

ROLLING START DATES

Most of our programs have new courses starting every eight weeks. Whether you want to follow a traditional fall-to-spring schedule or get started as soon as possible, we have you covered. Choose the schedule that works for you. The next start date for each program is listed below.

PERSONALIZED SUPPORT

Online students have access to the same academic resources as our main campus students, including peer advising from the Burton Center for Student Success and job skills training from Career and Life Planning. Each student also receives individual guidance to help them get started in the program.

We're here to help!
