Online programming at Lees-McRae College receives nationwide praise

The online programs at Lees-McRae have recently been the focus of much commendation. While the online programs overall ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s top 150 online colleges in the country, the college’s individual programs have received recognition as well.

According to CollegeFactual, a website which helps students find the best college for them, the college’s online Nursing program ranked at number 20 in North Carolina on their Best Schools for Nursing list, and landed in the top 300 on the website’s Most Focused Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Nursing list in the U.S.

The college’s online Human Services program also received praise from CollegeFactual. The program was ranked 107 on the website’s Best Schools for Human Services list, placing them at number three in the state. The program also ranked within the top 25 institutions for Most Focused Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Human Services, and Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Online Human Services Schools.

The college’s Online Elementary Education program shone as well, receiving recognition from college ranking websites OnlineU and Teacher.org.

OnlineU ranked Lees-McRae at number nine for most affordable Online Elementary Education degrees in the country. Affordability is a priority for all the college’s online programs, and this ranking reflects the college’s desire to make a high-quality education accessible to everyone.

Teacher.org named the Online Elementary Education program at Lees-McRae as one of its 50 Favorite Online Bachelor’s in Education Teacher Certificate Programs. The website cited flexible attendance options, low-cost living arrangements, and a wider selection of programs to choose from as some of the criteria that contributed to their ranking.
